Clayton Bowling

Clayton Bowling, a beloved resident of Tyner, Kentucky, was born on January 1, 1960, in Hyden, Kentucky. He was the cherished son of the late Erskin and Sophie Bowling. Clayton was united in marriage to Camzie Brumley Bowling, who survives him in Tyner.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children Pamela Henson of McKee, Kentucky, and Clayton Delane Bowling and Timothy Bowling, both of Tyner. Clayton is also survived by his siblings Jewell Shepherd and Jackie C. Bowling both of London, Kentucky, Charlene Hoskins of Manchester, Kentucky, Brenda Maggard of Somerset, Kentucky, Paulette Hoskins of Tyner, Cleo Mays of McKee, and Lisa Cotton of Burning Springs, Kentucky. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and he will be missed by a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his siblings Smokey Bowling and Denver Bowling.
Clayton Bowling departed this life on July 11, 2025, at the age of 65 years, 6 months, and 10 days.
The funeral service for Clayton will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with Ted Eversole and Mark Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling-Shepherd Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm on Monday at Bowling Funeral Home.
