Gracie Smith

Gracie Smith, age 76, of Louisville, Ky, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025. She was born in Manchester, Ky, to George and Thelma Harris on May 25th, 1948.

She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Russell Smith. As well as her special partner, Phillip Fowler.

She leaves her surviving children: Arnold Dean Smith, Lansford Smith, both of Manchester, Ky, Teddy Smith, Linda Pozzie and husband Vincent Ray, both of Louisville, Ky.

She also leaves surviving her brothers, Teddy Harris and wife Gladys and Estill Harris and wife Linda, both of Manchester, Ky. As well as 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a special niece Barbara and husband Patrick Harris, and a host of other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, husband, and special partner, Gracie also was preceded in death by her son, Oscar Lee Smith; by her grandson, Lance Smith; and by the following brothers and sisters: Viretta Patrick Abner, Earnest Harris, Charles Glenn Harris, Stanley Harris, Louis Harris, Annalee Harris and Troy Harris,

Services for Gracie will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Paces Creek Cemetery in Manchester.

Visitation for Gracie will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13th, at Britton Funeral Home.
