Rose Jackson

Rose Jackson, 91, of Manchester, KY, passed away Friday, May 2nd, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital.

Rose was born in Manchester, KY on July 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Oscar and Mae Scott Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Armest Jackson.

Rose is survived by her children: Donna Jackson and husband Fred of Manchester, David Allen and wife Connie of Los Alamos, NM, Doug Jackson and wife Laura of Duck, WV, and Gary "Oouchie" Jackson and wife Tracy of Manchester.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jonathon Jackson, Crystal Scott, Joshua Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Shelby Hatfield, Morgan Green, Sara Wynn, Emily Crotia, David Allen, Ethan Allen, Rachel Denmark, Andrew Jackson, Fred Jackson, and Anna Belle Jackson; and by 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rose was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Jackson; her brothers: Charlie Bishop, Arnold Bishop, Chris Bishop, and Jimmy Bishop; and by her nephew, Paul Bishop.

Services were held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 4th at Britton Funeral Home, with Kenneth Felty and Scotty Sumner officiating. Burial followed at the Treadway Cemetery on Bowling Branch Rd.
